Spayed / neutered.
Meet Wyatt! After being found running loose outside, Wyatt is learning the ropes of indoor living. He is a large California breed rabbit and is rapidly overcoming any residual shyness from his outdoor adventures, especially with the help of other foster rabbits showing him the way.
This big boy loves his pellets and will need to be encouraged to eat more hay to keep him at a healthy weight. Wyatt appreciates all treats, especially from Small Pet Select, as they can be easily broken down into small pieces. This is because at some point during his time outside his bottom teeth were knocked out and he needs a little help with larger sized treats. He also has some wounds from an apparent attack from a dog or cat, so it would be wise to introduce these animals slowly to him.
Wyatt is very curious, but still a little bit wary of hands. He will accept and enjoy gentle head pets once he is calm. For this reason, he would do best in a home with older children or adults.
Wyatt is still working on his litter box habits, but as he was recently neutered we hope that those will improve soon. Wyatt hasn’t shown much interest in toys yet, but he does love to have lots of space to run around and explore. As a larger rabbit, lots of out of pen time is a must. He also seems very interested in other rabbits and has been reasonably polite so far, so a bunwife might be in his future.
