Spayed / neutered.
Meet Hal! If you need a rabbit to brighten your day, then look no further than the 4 pounds of joy that is Hal. Hal is a mixed breed bunny, likely a mix of a florida white, lionhead, and pure sunshine.
As he is still a young rabbit, about 8 months, Hal loves to charge around large spaces where he has ample room to investigate and conduct very important rabbit business. His greatest passion, however, is receiving attention and love from his human and other rabbits. When pet, Hal will respond with huge tooth purrs and reciprocal grooming. There is a reason he’s received the nickname, “Happy Hal.”
Hal is a great eater and relishes his pellets, hay, and all treats he has been offered. Hal’s one hang up is concerning being picked up, which he does not appreciate and is the only time he might offer you a nip. This may be because he possibly has hip dysplasia, or another hind end injury that makes it uncomfortable for him to be held. This also prevents him from being able to clean himself thoroughly, so watching for urine stains and keeping his litter box full of clean bedding is another must for Hal.
He uses his litter box well within his own space, but can’t contain himself, his pee, or his poops when around other rabbits. This may improve with time after being bonded to another bunny, which he would very much enjoy. He was also recently neutered and hope this will improve out of pen litter habits as well.
Because of his outgoing personality, Hal would likely enjoy the company of other rabbit friendly animals and kids.
