Spayed / neutered.
Honeybun was born in ORCA foster care during quarantine, on March 22nd. Her mother had been rescued in a Williamsburg neighborhood, and gave birth just two days later. Lucky for her that mama held the babies in until she was safe!
Honeybun is an adorable lion head lop mix, with a gorgeous blonde mane. She is on the small side, at 3.8 pounds, and is fixed and litter box trained. She is a very curious bunny and is very calm and patient. She does not like to be picked up but will enjoy being petted once she warms up to you. She is great to interact with and pays close attention to you and what you are doing. She likes to shred bunny safe toys, explore, perch on things, and eat yummy salads. She loves her veggies!
Like many of us, Honeybun has good hair days and bad hair days. She has varying ear days as well – sometimes she drops both ears, other times she is a helicopter bun. Honeybun does NOT like her food to come late and will toss her plate around if she wants more veggies. Did we mention she loves her veggies? She would do best with a family that enjoys taking long walks down the produce aisle and is familiar with the extra grooming lionheads may need. Honeybun is not a fan of kids as she does not like to be grabbed or held. She is used to a calm, quiet and relaxing home and would thrive in a similar situation.
