Story

Andy is a female Red-Lored Amazon. She is older(28) and is looking for her forever retirement home. Andy came to us with a severely over-grown beak and is still getting corrective shapings from our Avian Vet. Andy also has arthritis and may eventually need to be on some pain meds in the future for it. She does have cataracts in both eyes, she can still see but some days are better than others. Aside from old age, she is very sweet to the person she likes and chooses. She enjoys to sit with her person and just watch TV or hang out. Andy can be loud and she can be aggressive to others once she has bonded to her person. The right home would be one that has access to an avian vet regularly to continue shaping her beak and one that will allow her to live out the rest of her life without high expectations.

Andy does have a special cage requirement that is to be met!

To adopt: H.E.A.R.T. requires the adoption application and home walk through video sent before we will schedule you appointments to visit with the birds. You are required to make multiple visits to make sure that it will be a good fit for the bird and you. You will also be required to sign an adoption agreement.
