Squeak was a scared and shy kitten when we rescued him and his brother, Pippin. He and his brother were discovered under a mobile home in a trailer park, where Oasis is frequently called to rescue kittens. Squeak has come a long way, in a short time. He loves people and is playful, trusting and likes to be held and petted. His brother Pippin has taken longer to learn us humans are pretty nice and he depends on his brother, Squeak for confidence. They are a sweet pair - Pippin is just shy, but he never has tried to scratch or bite when he’s picked up, and he lets people hold him, but will avoid it, if possible. Squeak loves to play with toys and his brother, as well as other kittens. He’s such a cute, sweet boy and he’s come a long way, with his foster family’s help,
Squeak would do best if adopted into the same home as his brother, Pippin, since Pippin depends on Squeak to be more brave and confident. A more quiet home, with a patient adopter would be ideal because of Pippin.
Squeak & Pippin are loved so much by their foster family and continue to give them both a lot of leap and play time. Now, they are ready for a home of their own.
Squeak has been neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites, and is ready for a loving home. Kittens do require some patience - but, will make great additions and companions to a home that is ready for them. Squeak needs a lifetime commitment for a forever home.
If you are interested in adopting Squeak, and perhaps Pippin too, please fill out our adoption application on our website: www.oasis for animals.org and submit it. You can check our Facebook page for our next adoption event, usually in Kirkland (but unclear now due to COVID restrictions).
We are located on Whidbey Island and our rescue is made up of all-volunteers. The rescued kitties are in foster homes. We do not have a facility, but we will follow safe COVID restrictions to meet adopters and place our adoptable kittens in homes. We can work out the details.
Thank you for adopting a homeless, rescued kitty and providing a loving, forever home!
