Story

Tuesday is a 3 month old female Syrian hamster who is part of our Oreo litter. She has black fur and a white band around her middle.

The Oreo litter were an accidental litter that was surrendered to Tiny Whiskers Animal Rescue in May when their owner was unable to find homes for them all.

Tuesday is one of the two shyest pups of the litter. She is not aggressive and has never bit anyone, but she is hesitant to take treats from your hand. She prefers to wait until you give her some space to see what you've left for her. Tuesday typically starts her evening around 9 or 10 pm. As you can guess, Tuesday is not big on being picked up just yet, She will usually run and hide as soon as her enclosure is opened, although sometimes we are able to open her bin startling her. Giving Tuesday time to calm down and working on socializing will go a long way to helping her become a very friendly little girl.

We believe that Saturday would be a good companion for a beginner or experienced owner who can provide and extra gentle and loving environment for her.
