Story

Monday is a 3 month old female Syrian hamster who is part of our Oreo litter. She has black fur and white fur with a dapple pattern.

The Oreo litter were an accidental litter that was surrendered to Tiny Whiskers Animal Rescue in May when their owner was unable to find homes for them all.

Monday is one of the friendlier pups of the litter. She's still cautious about human interaction, but she's coming around with some work (and treats!). Monday is not aggressive and has never bit anyone. She typically gets up around 8 pm and she isn't too shy to take a treat from your hand. She's not great about being picked up yet and she can be startled, but that is partially due to needing more socialization and the fact that she is still quite young.

We believe that Monday would be a good companion for a beginner or experienced owner who will be gentle with her and continue to work on socializing her.
