Story

Bandit is a very friendly three year old male guinea pig who was recently surrendered to the shelter. His family no longer had time for him. He is a handsome white American smooth with patches of lilac agouti around his eyes. He is slightly timid with the changes in his people and surroundings but he warms up quickly if you are calm and quiet with him. He is also learning what veggies are.

Bandit is currently in a foster home and will require 24 hour notice for meet and greets. His foster family will be out of town from July 15-22 so no meet and greets will be available during that time.

Isle of Wight County Animal Services is located in Windsor, Virginia. We can be reached at (757)365-6318. Due to Covid our hours for public walk throughs and meet & greets are by appointment only Tuesday-Saturday from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. Please call us to schedule an appointment. We are closed to the public Sundays and Mondays. If you have questions about an animal you see on Petfinder that aren’t answered in the description don’t hesitate to call us. We are happy to speak with you regarding any of our available animals. Our goal is to find our shelter residents their perfect, well matched forever homes as quickly as possible. If you own a dog meet and greets are required with our dogs prior to starting the adoption/foster to adopt process.
