Bonnie is a 25 lb, 2-3 year old amazing dog, we will never understand why she was left behind.
Bonnie and her 2 puppies, Willow and Buffy, were all left behind after the owners moved. They didn't even leave food or water behind, just the dogs. For days people saw them, didn't do anything.
Then our foster told us about them and we stepped up. We got them to safety and all 3 of these girls have been wonderful since!
Bonnie is a wonderful mom but now Willow and Buffy are ready to get out on their own!
Bonnie is such a gentle, playful girl. She doesn't get too crazy but just the perfect temperament to where she is active but then she LOVES to sleep in soft places.
Bonnie doesn't understand what small children are so while she is NOT aggressive, we do only recommend her with 5+ year old children.
Bonnie would flourish in a home where she can just let loose, go on nice walks and be loved on.
All adoption fees include spay/neuter, current negative hw test if old enough, current vaccines including rabies, parvo/distemper, bordatella, current heart worm and flea/tick preventions, lifetime registered microchip, 2 dewormers and transport costs from Texas to the East Coast.
PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT:
To adopt fill out an application at:
Www.ruraltank.org under ADOPT
We process applications as first come, first serve so we suggest you fill out an application as soon as possible as we can receive quite a few per animal.
If you submit an inquiry that questions something answered in this bio, we will not respond due to high volume of inquiries.
ALL OF OUR ANIMALS ARE LOCATED IN SOUTH TEXAS. They are posted in areas where we transport to ONCE ADOPTED.
95% of our animals are pre adopted prior to transport, if you want to do a meet and greet with an animal in person we suggest going to a local shelter as we probably will not be able to offer that.
Once approved though us, we will put you in contact with the foster family that has your animal to learn more about them!
We transport every 3 weeks, so if you're looking for an animal for around then, please keep an eye out!
Application turn around is usually about 1-3 days max, if not sooner. After you submit an application and want to send additional information or pictures of current animals/past ones in a separate email, we love that and it always helps your chances :)
