Story

I am that guy who is looking for love in all the right places! My name is Bernard and I am a single retiree who doesn't like to play games! I am a 45 pound Shepard mix guy. By the age of 10, I know what I want and what I like. I am house trained, don't need a crate and love an evening stroll. My nature is laid back and sweet but I still have a playful fun side. Commands I already know include "sit" "shake" and "lay down" plus I get along with other dogs. I would love it if my people were home more often with me because there is nothing I love more than spending time with my humans. I need to stay active because as we age, us old timers tend to get arthritis in our knees! I am great on a leash and could live just about anywhere (although I will bark when alone). A house with a fenced yard would be ideal! Looking for a travel companion for that new RV? Sign me up!

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
