Meet Blossom -- Blossom has the most amazing personality and report from her foster mom!
At just about 1 year old and 27 lbs, Blossom is the perfect size for neighborhood walks (she's a very social girl), hikes in the Colorado mountains, car rides to dog-friendly destinations or fun backyard play!

The following is from Blossom's foster mom:

"Blossom is the definition of a dream dog. She is not just sweet, but the sweetest. Her heart is as big as her adorable ears, she quickly won over my heart.

-Smart and Savvy:
Blossom impressed me with her intelligence that shines through in her eagerness to learn and please. Whether following commands, or simply being an excellent listener, she was always ready to impress me with her quick wit. She mastered "sit", "down" and "stay" very quickly. She learned to go slow and wait on the stairs for me to catch up in one day. Blossom is an attentive companion. She is always ready to impress with her sharp mind.

-Potty Trained:
Blossom is impeccably well-behaved and potty trained. She has not pottied in the house one time!

-Great with People and Kids:
Blossom isn't just good with people; she's fantastic! Her gentle nature and affectionate personality make her the ideal companion for kids and adults alike. She thrives on human interaction and is always eager to be part of your family's adventures.

-Free-Spirited Fun:
This spirited pup knows how to have a good time! Blossom loves the great outdoors, long walks in the park, and playful romps in the yard. She's a bundle of energy and enthusiasm, ready to join you on any adventure you have in mind.

-Treat Motivated:
She is highly treat-motivated.
Her love for treats makes training a breeze; she's a quick learner and will do just about anything for a tasty reward. Teaching her commands was not only fun but also incredibly rewarding."

Farfel's Rescue feels very strongly that every dog deserves the opportunity for formal, positive reinforcement/force-free training classes that are virtual or in-person. We therefore aren't willing to adopt Blossom out to a home that doesn't choose to offer her this training opportunity. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of approved positive reinforcement/force-free virtual and in-person trainers in your area.

Blossom is up to date on her vetting/vaccinations to be in line with our commitment to only adopting out healthy dogs. She is not yet spayed -- spay is required to finalize an adoption, and must be done within one month.
