YUKI
Hey, big dog lovers! My name is Yuki (Japanese for “Snow”) and I’m looking for my “furever” home with a fenced yard and a couch to lounge on. I’m thought to be a Great Pyrenees mixed with Akbash as I do exhibit traits of both these LGD (Livestock Guardian Dog) breeds. I can be protective of my people and property and often do this by barking to let everyone know I’m on the job. I’m a healthy 8 years (but certainly don’t act like the senior I’m said to be!), weigh approximately 115 lbs and stand about 31“ at my shoulder. I’m okay with many dogs but can be selective so Foster Mom believes I would enjoy being an “only” because I do love having all the attention! I am currently living with both extra large and small dogs. I don’t know about cats as I haven’t been around any. I’m house-trained and crate-trained (but although I’m trustworthy not being crated, I might do a bit of “counter-surfing” if something tempting is left out), and I’m okay on a leash (but could use more practice).
