We appreciate your interest, but as a local Long Island organization, we cannot orchestrate long distance or out-of-NY State adoptions. We can only handle placements in the Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx, Staten Island, NYC, lower Westchester and lower Rockland County areas.

Angel has a lot of anxiety surrounding new people. if someone she dosn't know walks in the room she will scream and fly away.
Why are you needing to rehome your bird?
we no longer have the sufficient time or space to give her the care she deserves.

Angel is a very sweet cuddly bird. She loves head scratches, can step up when asked and often enjoys following us around on shoulders and heads. Angel gets frightened of new people easily and will scream and fly away when someone unknown enters the room. Angel is fully flighted, however, often chooses to remain on her cage or on a perch. She is an older bird and would do best in a quite home, without kids, and experienced owners who will work to gain her trust.
